Messi in his current form is an enormous threat. He is for sure one of the best players in the world but, as I said before, no team is invincible. His ball technique is superb but, most importantly, he can react to how the game develops. At the last possible moment in any situation he can find the ideal solution. There are a lot of ways that Messi can finish an attack. On the other hand, he is also only human and, if we perform to 100%, we will be able to defend against him.

There are still 33 points in play, so it may happen. But it all depends on Manchester and whether they will feel the effects of this defeat. They still have it in their own hands and 12 points is a good lead. We have to keep winning.

The Champions League is a very good competition and it is a competition Chelsea has never won before. We want to go and win it. Recently things have not been going our way. We are behind in the league, we are out of the FA Cup and so this competition is what we are looking for. We want to go all the way and win it. This is our aim.

Of course we are behind in the league, but we have to play Manchester United twice. There is a long way to go and everyone knows we are fighting for this trophy. And a win is always good for the confidence. Now we have seven days to get ready for the Manchester United game and we will try to close the gap in the league by winning that game. We are still very far behind. We will need a lot of luck for everybody else to drop points, but we will fight until the very last moment.
— Petr Cech saying Chelsea is still fighting for Premier League title / February 23, 2011
We have the biggest ambitions in every season. Every season we enter with the aim of winning as many trophies as possible. This year we will be defending two which is not going to be easy. But we have an experienced team and I believe we will cope with it.

In my opinion, it will expand into six teams. Apart from us, the two Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Tottenham and it will also be interesting to watch how Liverpool do with their new manager.

I think two competitions will be preferred to other ones - the Premier League and the Champions League. To go out there and try to defend the title is a big call. I believe we will keep the trophy at Stamford Bridge for one more year. And to win the Champions League? For that we will fight hard too, for sure.
