Warne was a fantastic bowler and so different from others... I would say he had a better cricketing brain than me. I basically depended on my ability to spin the ball, accuracy and an ability to spin the ball, accuracy and an ability to bowl marathon spells without tiring. That's how I took my wickets. But Warne used to plan a batsman's dismissal. He would set his own field and then bowl accordingly to get the batsman out. He was also a very good captain.

I've had a great time. In 131 Tests, I've taken four-wicket hauls in an innings on 44 occasions and five-for 66 times. So, out of 131 matches, I've done well in 110 matches and it means I've performed well in about 90% of the matches that I've played.

I have established a lot of records and it's all numbers. I have enjoyed my cricket for the past 18 years and I want to enjoy the rest of it as well and go on a high note. Records come and go and you can probably be satisfied once you are old. At the end of the day, what's important is helping the team win.

I have had enough. I have played international cricket for the last 18 years. The only thing left for me is probably taking 1000 wickets, but it takes lot of years. We generally play seven or eight Tests a year and if I am to take another 200 Test wickets, it will take about another 30 Test Matches and that could be another five years. That's not realistic and better to go on a high note

The youngsters have come through. There's Ajantha Mendis, who is young and doing well. If you take Herath he's 30 and he can play for another five or six years, but if I keep on playing he won't get much of a chance.
