Certainly, United were the better team for the majority of the first half. But I just sense that we had a little more relief towards the end of the half and then we took that into the second half.

I think everyone accepted that had the penalty been converted the game was over but David has been impressing everybody. I haven't been through the door long but since I've been here his training and the two games that he's played he's been outstanding, so credit to the young boy,

I was disappointed with the penalty award and obviously the own goal. Yes, it hit his hand but there was no intention, he hasn't tried to affect the play, he swung a leg out and it bounced into his hand. I thought it was a harsh decision. We had a couple of shouts ourselves but overall I'm just delighted with the overall spirit we've shown.

In recent times Fulham’s away form hasn’t been that accomplished. We haven’t been able to pick up many points away from home. It is a good start for us and maybe with a little bit more in that final third when we had a couple of opportunities we would have been able to create some clear-cut chances. As it was, we just lacked that quality on the final ball and the chances were missed but, apart from that, I thought it was a decent performance.
