What everyone thinks about Madonna?

Between that and my four children, I don’t have the time or the energy for anything else. For example, I do appreciate that lots of people worked long and hard putting together things like the DVD of the Sticky & Sweet Tour that we just released, and I have seen the finished product, but I have got no idea how people are going to find out about it or how it’s going to be sold.

I don’t have a record deal right now with anybody. I don’t know how I’m going to get my music out the next time I make a record. I’m going to have to reinvent the wheel. I haven’t really been focused as much as I should be on the music part of my career, because this movie has just consumed every inch of me.

I’ve been writing it for the last two and a half years, to tell you the truth. It’s been kind of an obsession of mine. I started writing it when I finished filming Filth and Wisdom. It was actually an idea I had before that, but I made Filth and Wisdom because I realized that I didn’t really have a right to make a bigger film until I made a smaller film — and learned how to make a film.

I also loved the fantastic performances of Vogue, Express Yourself and all the messages about the boys being respectful to girls. The entire cast was amazing. They’re all so talented. I especially loved Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and Kurt Hummel’s (Chris Colfer) characters. [Show creator] Ryan Murphy did a great job bringing all these elements together. [Daughter] Lola loved the show too. I wish I went to a high school like that…If only.

I thought the Madonna episode of Glee was brilliant on every level. The dialogue and the entire script was genius. I completely appreciated the layers of irony, especially when all those macho boys sang What It Feels Like For A Girl.

Kids will be able to connect with kids from the other parts of the world. This will promote peace throughout the world.

In a country of 14 million, a staggering one million children have been left alone with the responsibility of raising each other. I returned home knowing the future of Malawi was resting on the shoulders of these orphaned children, and I had to act. So it is with tremendous joy that I return to Malawi to lay the first brick in the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls. By educating girls we will rebuild this community and raise this nation. It is with hope for a bright future that I am here. Tomorrow the brick I will lay is not just the bedrock to a school – it is the foundation for our shared future.

On my first visit to Malawi, I was devastated to meet child after child who had been orphaned by AIDS. Having lost my mother at such a young age, I felt a close connection to these children. Their stories had touched my own.

The most fun is when Lourdes comes into the room and takes over and pulls out all of her favorite stuff and starts going through the racks and just takes over. I just sit on the conference table and watch and let her do the work — it’s nice, it’s refreshing.

When Lourdes chooses her own wardrobe for when she’s going out or going to school or whatever, I have a lot of input, but when it comes to designing the line it’s pretty much her point of view.
