Drew Blyth Barrymore is the granddaughter of John Barrymore. She made her acting debut when she appeared in advertisement when she was 11 months old. Her filming debut came in the 1980 movie Altered States. She became famous for her role in the movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Barrymore acted in several successful movies including Poison Ivy, Bad Girls, Boys on the Side, Everyone Says I Love You, The Wedding Singer and Lucky You. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February 3, 2004. Drew hosted Saturday Night Live six times and became the first female to do so. She was also named Ambassador against Hunger for the UN World Food Programme in 2007.
